Can a bootstrap theme I created and linked to WordPress have plugins added, so I can truly add a news give food to, events calendar and nourish to my internet pages? The site is a charity site, which is likely to have a news feed of goings on within the charity and events. Most of the home page is complete. But I have no idea exactly how to write the code for articles in bootstrap, so that whenever I upload it to WordPress, it will properly interact.
Allowing me to make new articles, remove old ones, etc. I either need to find out how to do this, or find out easily may use plugins to give me the same impact. That is my first time using WordPress. If you know of a good tutorial or something that supports the news feed being built-in bootstrap to work in WordPress, I’d be on the moon. Many thanks to anyone who offers their help! I’ve attempted to find a remedy online but all I get are pre-built news theme suggestions.
I guess there that many it drowns out any answers. A bootstrap theme is just a static page. But WordPress dynamically creates all its pages. This is because all the blog posts are saved in a database. In order to utilize WordPress, you would need to employ a WordPress theme really. If you know PHP you could easily migrate your bootstrap theme to a WP theme. In cases like this you would really just need to add your markup, scripts and styles to the project. So if I am able to to migrate my bootstrap theme to WP then it would be possible at that point to add a news feed?
